Eva Chen,  Ph.D. (Biochemistry), LL.B.


Eva received her Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University in 2007, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008.

Prior to law school, Eva explored a science career at the University of Toronto, where she received an Honours Bachelor of Science with high distinction before embarking on her Ph.D. studies under the tutelage of a world-class cancer researcher at the University of Toronto.

Since her graduation from law school, Eva has practiced in many areas of business law: business agreement drafting and negotiation, commercial and residential tenancy, all aspects of employment law, complex commercial litigation, debt collection, residential to commercial real estate transactions, and wills and estate planning.

Eva's career in law was solidified not only by her strong interest in law matters but also by her passion for helping others meander the sometimes complex legal arena.

Eva strongly believes in giving back to the community. During her studies in law school, Eva volunteered at the Legal Aid Clinic, Family Law Information Centre at the Unified Family Court in Kingston (Ontario), and for other non-profit organizations through Pro Bono Canada.

Currently, Eva is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Durham Region Law Association, the Rotary Club of York, and the Taiwan Entrepreneurs Society Taipei/Toronto (TESTT).

In her spare time, Eva enjoys hiking and camping with her dog.

Sandra Hsia,  B.Sc., J.D.


Sandra joined our team in 2017. Previously, as a Legal Aid Clinic staff lawyer in Kingston, Sandra assisted many clients in various litigation matters including landlord and tenant disputes, human rights law, criminal injuries compensation, and education law. She is passionate about helping those in her community, especially those most vulnerable socially, and giving them a voice and achieving satisfactory results for her clients.

Sandra graduated wtih Distinction from the University of Victoria in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She furthered her studies at the University of Manitoba receiving her Juris Doctor degree, and later called to the Ontario bar in 2016.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing piano, and soaking in the healing powers of hot yoga.

Jenny Zhao,  B.A., J.D.


Jenny joined our team as an Articling Student in 2018. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia in 2015. She continued her studies in law at the University of Windsor and received her Juris Doctor degree in 2018. During law school, she volunteered with the Legal Aid Clinic assisting many of her clients in landlord/tenant disputes. By giving back to the University community through her involvment with organizing campus wide events, she is passionate about promoting accessibility, diversity, and human rights for all persons.


Outside of work, Jenny enjoys watching Netflix, hiking, and trying new and interesting foods.

Mindy Wong,  Paralegal


Mindy is fluent in Cantonese and assists the firm in Corporate, Litigation and Real Estate matters. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2007 and joined our team in 2012. With a growing passion for law, she furthered her studies by completing the Paralegal progam at Seneca College in 2017. During her sparetime, she enjoys playing with her cat Scout, going to music concerts, and exploring the outdoors.

Grace Chen,  Administrative Manager


Grace is fluent in Mandarin and assists with general administration of the Office.

Brent Williams,  Office Manager


Brent assists in Real Estate matters. He is also responsible for the general running of the office. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2005 and joined our team in 2011. In his sparetime, he enjoys playing tennis and tackling home projects.
